I had the same letter but the check I received had the logo and address of a legitimate company. I found the faked check-issuer on the internet and called them. They asked me to fax a copy of the check to them. Hopefully, they will get involved to stop the check fraud and federal authorities will investigate. I also filed a complaint with the Postal Service Inspectors web site.

Why wait for someone else to report the scams? The sooner we all do it, the sooner it will be taken care of!!!!!!! I have listed the people to report it to, (their "fraud" divisions) in no particular order: www.PostalInspectors.uspis.gov FBI (local) or www.ic3.gov local Attoney General's Office local BBB Federal Trade Commission 1-877-832-4357 or www.ftc.gov DO IT TODAY!!!!!!!!
