MODA Health care is a very poor company to work with.  Deception appears to run deep. They will not give you confirmation numbers for changes. Do not use the Auto pay system if you have any concerns or a plan to cancel. Go direct to your bank and cancel if you have a concern. They do not care if you cancel and they will not refund money that has been taken even when you have not filed a claim or used their service. I suggest shopping around.

When I first started with them they put me in the wrong network and told me it was my problem a procedure cost me over $2,100 dollars and they paid about $189.00.  That is not insurance, that is a rip-off.

With the new Obamacare program they said I would pay the same but forgot to tell me they downgraded my plan to useless unless major medical needs over $5,000 deductible, they would split the cost with me after I pay $5,000. They took my (3) doctor visits per year at a cost of $25.00 a piece and just got rid of that. They never asked me.  Just did it. My insurance agent was long gone and they do not try to help a customer understand changes.  They do increase your rate every year on the first of January. I believe It used to be for my Birthday.

Now they charge me and say I do not get a refund for insurance I do not need. I am double insured and very happy to be done with MODA. I doubt if the law allows both companies to pay for one procedure, but I must pay both companies for one month of insurance. This company has changed its name to MODA from ODS. I would not use them again. I paid them for years and got very little health care or curtesy.  Beware! MODA Customer service will disappoint you. Management has no concern for helping people.  My opinion is they do not care. I hope February’s payment of $256 helps their company. The company MODA never helped me. That was my fault for using your company for so many years. I am glad to be with a better company and even happier to be done with MODA. I suggest looking around for a better company that is less expensive and has good customer care.
