note- all these companies are related- dwight agnor, the foudner of manhattan model search (now under new ownership) and the head of nycfame, trained david mogul the head of model search america. one of MSA's former employees now runs millennium model management. all related scams!!!
I wish I had seen your website before I blew over $600 for my daughter and I to attend the MSA convention in Chicago last December.
Although we were forewarned by the convention organizers that "we bring the agents to you... whether they pick you or not is out of our hands," it was not made clear that there would be over 800 people walking across a stage in front of about 25 extremely bored "agents," and then the participants would quickly walk by the agents holding up a photo.
If the agent was looking down, talking to someone else, or just bored (my daughter was number 785), you didn't get seen, period.
Basically we paid $600+ for the chance to have an agent glance in our direction for about 10 seconds.
As I looked around at the participants at the convention, I realized that we had been taken. Clearly, most of these people had a "s****..

My name is Dwight Agnor. I am the Founder and Prsident of Model Search NYC. This complaint was done by TCTalent...otherwise known as Transcontinental Talent. TCTalent was the biggest model scam in history. The owner of TCTalent was a man named Lou Perlman. Lou Perlman is now in prison and will be for the rest of his life. Before going to prison, Lou Perlman directed his assistant, alec Defrawi to make fraudulent internet complaints like this one against me personally. Alec Defrawi served 5 years in federal prison for internet fraud and for posting phony complaints like this one. He was also convicted of physically abusing a 5 year old boy by deliberately putting the child into scalding hot bath water, casuing the boy to be scarred for life!!! According to the FBI he has had dozens of phony names (aka's ). These are very bad people. Thankfully some employees who know what was going on filed secret replies on many of these complaints and testified against them to law enforcement officials, like the employee testifying that this complaint was totally false. The fact is that most ( if not all ) of the complaints on this site ( and most other bulletin board sites ) were done by this same group of convicted criminals. It's very easy to do. Just go get a phony email address and make up a phony name and logon and say anything you want. They can't be tracked or traced so evil people use sites like tis to fool people like you. Most smart people know about these sites and don't pay any attention to them However, this complaint was filed in 2003, and back then people were not so smart about the internet and would believe what they read on sites like this. The simple truth is, I have been a major player in this business for 20 years!!! I have started the careers of hundreds and hundreds of models, including several of the biggest names in the modelling industry today. If you want to know the truth about me or my company, don't trust anything you see on sites like this one. I am an Office Director with TCTalent and know people at corporate. I know this specific report originated from the Castnet operation. Paul Shultz and Erin Cameron work closely together with Jay Wallace and have concocted these reports to discredit this site.
I was going to keep quiet about it until Monday when Alec told us he wanted us to file bogus reports on this site so that the media could not get ahold of victims. (When ROR tried to give the names of clients and former scouts they would get us instead.) This company is out of control and lawsuit happy. I would talk to the media but now ironically they have made ROR the only safe place to provide information.
I feel sorry for the scouts in the KCAL story because Alec told us that they had sued them and they are even suing the media that went undercover. I know there are others that think this bogus is so dumb, but we are forced to go along with it because we need a paycheck.
