Model Talent Development Scam, ripoff Hicksville, New York
My daughter was approached by a representative of Model Talent Development who seem to have interest in her becoming a model. Because she's 19, I had to bring her to their site in Hicksville, NY to discuss possible modeling opportunities for her. We decided on a photo package deal for a total cost of $2200. I left a deposit of $500, and scheduled a photo shoot. Whe we arrived to their site for her appointment, they were closed. And when we called, there was a message stating that they were closed for the weekend. That same day, I was going to give them the remaining balance of $1400, I thank God this happened. My daughter's feelings were crushed. I am going to pursue obtaining a lawyer to sue for the $500 I paid.

Has anyone been contacted by Prestige Management Group in recent weeks? They say they are a talent agency that was one of New Faces/ MTDs clients. The story is that they are contacting many MTD/ New Faces customers and telling them that the Hicksville based Company shut down and went out of business because of Hurricane Sandy. They are calling NF MTD customers and offering up their services without a contract and without a job in the works. A little suspect if you ask me!
