Complaint Review: Modenacam.com - Select State/Province

Let me start by just saying, DO NOT BUY THIS SCRIPT, IT HAS TONS OF BUGS AND NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT.

I just purchased the latest software from Modenacam v4. Once the script was installed it looked really nice BUT THAT'S ALL! Almost every section of this script has bugs which does not allow the script to work properly, there are some features that were supposed to work that simply don't work at all, I have been doing basic non PHP web design for 15 years so I am not new to this. I noticed Modenacam some years back when I was thinking about starting an adult webcam site, I read reviews and they were all the same, the reviews stated that the script does not work and they do not respond to customer complaints. I just assumed this was maybe one of their competitor companies putting out false reviews but now I know better. It's my fault for getting burned because I should have trusted the reviews and went with one of the other companies that sell this software. Once installed and the bugs started showing their ugly faces I started getting nervous, then I found more including features that didn't even work. I emailed them 4 times over the period of 1 week and then after about 2 weeks of no response I told them I would do a chargeback with my bank, then I got an email back stating they don't offer refunds and that the script works, I told them to look at my site and they could see it's not working. So they emailed back and said I must have installed it incorrectly even though I have been installing web scripts for over a decade. Well I decided that maybe there is some top secret knowledge you have to have to make this work properly so I ended up paying them to reinstall it for me, I got the same errors and bugs, they said they would look into it and despite my efforts in contacting them, even threatening to make a post on here they never did reply back, so I have now started the chargeback process and am hoping that it goes in my favor. This company has simply taken their original script that never did work right and had a graphics design team doll it all up and make it look pretty and called it Modenacam v4. I had somebody look at my script code for me because I don't know very much PHP and I was told to shoot for a chargeback, the person I paid to go through the script said that they couldn't even believe somebody would put something on the net like this for sale. This is smoke and mirrors, they updated their sales site to look really corporate to gain the trust of their potential customers and then updated the look of their script ONLY, still contains all the bad code and non working features and ANY company that won't respond to professional emails from a customer is obviously aware of the bugs and non working features in their product and can not be trusted. I have wasted so much money and time with this that I am just beside myself. I have never posted a bad review on any company until now. I figure for the prices they are charging for this script that people should know that IT IS CRAP, IT HAS MANY, MANY BUGS & THEY DON'T EVEN CARE ENOUGH TO FIX THE ISSUE, REFUND MY MONEY OR EVEN SO MUCH AS RESPOND TO MY EMAILS.

BEWARE! DO NOT PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES BY MAKING THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. There are a couple other scripts on the net for running adult webcam scripts, which are much, much cheaper that seem to work great but since I have not made a purchase from those companies I cannot comment.

Modenacam, you should change your name to ModenaSCAM.com it's available, I checked.
