Money Resources Network - rewardmemoreco Scamming screams coming from Las Vegas Nevada
My wife, son, and I attended a Money Resources Network seminar in Conroe, TX followed by a 2nd one in The Woodlands, TX in December, 2007. We thought both seminars (which were well-attended and professionally given) were the real thing.
But we left the 2nd one early because we decided it was not for us...and consequently cancelled our participation with the personnel at the time and also within the 21-day period by phone and letter. I thought our responsible actions were enough...not so!
Our credit card had been charged $24.95 for 3 months before I noticed it. OK...Naive me. So I sent a letter with a 2nd cancellation demanding a refund. No reply or action. This month a charge was made from REWARDMEMORECO for the same amount. A call to this "call center" in Orem, Utah, said it was actually from Money Resources Network in Las Vegas...no telephone number given, just an address. The REWARDMEMORECO supervisor said, "We don't know; we're just a call center!" A statement was read, "no original cancellation numbers were given so the charges cannot be refunded."
What's going on? If I ever had thoughts of an internet business, I don't now.
Scamsville. Let's turn these people over to the Attorney General of Nevada.
