Money Tree Mortgage ripoff Woodstock Georgia
I have reported this Company to the Georgia BBB twice. I have been ripped off the so called application fee that I have been told will only be refunded at closing. There never was a closing and I don't think there was ever any intentions of a closing. I had to call and leave nasty messages on the voice mails just to get some one to call me back.
I have since had a closing with a bank and the whole entire process took 48 hours for an approval. I have requested a report from the BBB on Money Tree, and found out that in a 12 month period, there was 148 unanswered complaints against them. When we were dealing with them in Feb 2003, No one woild return my calls so I called the Police Department in Woodstock GA to find out if they were really a business. I made sure they knew I did that.
When I asked them if they would like to receive the report I pulled from the BBB on them, I was told by a very rude person by the name of Stephanie Mitchell, that they could care less what the BBB had to say about them, because they were suing them for the inaccurate complaints that over 140 some people made against them. I would like to get as many people as possible together and possibly start a class action against them.
