Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I believed that our contract was up this March because I had wanted to cancel it earlier and called to do just that very thing over a year ago. I was told at that time that we had to pay until the contract was expired, which was March 2003.....I had to ask when......

I resigned myself to that fact, and didn't even check the contract again. When we got the bill for the next quarter that was due in Feb. I called to see what it would take to cancel the contract. I was told that I needed to write a letter requesting cancellation with all the proper information. I was given the seperate address. I did that right after I hung up the phone. I also divided the quarterly bill and mailed that to the proper address. I thought I was finished.

Some 3 months ago, I moved all my personal belongings out of the house and rented it.....the contract is in a box somewhere. The person that I rented the house to uses a cell phone and therefore there is no service there anyway. I have been paying for this dead horse for some time now.

I got a bill for the remainder of the quarter, plus interest of course. I called this morning to clear up this "mistake", but was informed that I had another year to pay. I was furious, but managed to ask just exactly how many days late my letter was. Four days, I was told. So, when I called last month to write this letter, the person I spoke with and got the information from, already knew that I was too late it seems. I could give in and pay another year, but I am afraid that there will be another "rule" that I miss and will be stuck for another year. I may have already fell into that trap, having not checked myself last year to see if we had actually had the service for two years.

I resent having to hire an attorney to find a way out of this. I don't want to see anyone else get sucked into this companies trap. It saddens me that most people won't check the company out before they sign, just as we did. They might be ripping people off for YEARS yet. Avoid this company entirely.
