Moonwalks Stop & Jump Gerald & Wanda Dotson DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! This company is not professional and cancelled delivery of entertainment 4 days before my daughters 1st birthday. atlanta, Georgia
I contacted this company a month before my event. I spoke to the owner, Gerald Dotson and we discussed the date, time and location of the event and he then said he was able to do the event. He gave me the quote for the bouncer and cotton candy machine and informed me that the week of his wife, Wanda Dotson would call to go over drop off details.
The week of my daughters 1st party, 4 days before her event I received a call from Mrs. Dotson to go over the info. After I gave her the same info I had previously gave her husband such as date, time and location of my event she then stated " oh no we cant do this rental!" I was in shock and upset because I never had a company cancel the week of an event.
Then she gave the phone to her husband, Mr. Gerald Dotson who took this whole conversation into a racial discrimination conversation. He begin to talk about black people living in dangerous areas and " The Projects" and how he will not be caught in those areas at night. He also said the reason he even rents to blacks is for " little black children can have fun too." which I found to be a racist statement and really unnecessary.
He went on to say how other companies need to step their game up and how people in black communities especially decatur, ga need him. He also asked me if he helps me find a bouncer will I at least refer him to my friends... The Nerve of him.....
This conversation was long and drawn out about nothing and the end results were No Moonwalk For my daughters 1st birthday. I want to help others before this happens to them. Do Not Rent From This Company!!!
