Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

We were solicited for a Principle Reduction Program and felt it was worth a phone call. I spoke to Judy Rocca at MPG and we set up an appointment. After driving an hour to our appointment, we met w/ Robert Jones (judy's fiance) and Senior Underwriter.

I felt I asked all the right questions being in finance myself and said we wanted to think about the $5500 fee. We decided the fee was worth the reduction to our mortgage and since we have an ARM that will convert soon, I felt I didn't have much of a choice and this might be our only hope.

In July 2010, we paid our fee and the process began.  Like others I've read about, received emails from Advent Funding about what was happening and then last week got the letter saying the company is dissolving.  The paperwork about submitting a claim to them gives me slight hope but the wording in the letter gives me the impression I need someone to represent me..... Tomorrow my claim will be submitted by certified letter, but I'm not sure what to do now.  Someone listed that Advent Funding is taking over? I plan on calling my mortgage lender tomorrow to see what had transpired since but don't know where to turn.  Do we file complaints w/ the Attorney General? And what are the chances we will be refunded since they are in breach of contract? Uggghh, this is the last thing I needed.... We all need to put up a United Front and get these scammers if that's what they truly are and if it was a scam I'm truly embarrased to say that I feel for it as I'm smarter than the average bear....

Please post or reply if anyone has any additional information.

Principle Reduction by Addvent Funding is a SCAM

I highly doubt that yours or anybodys mortgage principle reduction by Addvent Funding will ever happen. Its been almost a year and a half since I filed with them which has resulted in nothing more then lies and them trying to cover up the scam. In July of this year I was in FL in which I stopped by their office and requested a refund. In the following weeks their were a few calls and email exchanges in which I was informed I my refund was being processed (all documented). Besides the emails I still have the VM recording from a staff member telling me my refund has been approved. Her it is in late September and I still dont have a refund and they dont answer or return any of my call or return emails. On September 14th I filed a report with Floridas Attorney General.

Good luck if you gave your money to this company.

Quit worrying about Queen Creek - Check with Addvent Funding

I called Addvent Funding today and I found that my mortgage reduction process is still in place. I found that my paperwork was there and the process is not only still working for my loan but will be finished soon.

They send out emails to those whose files are in their hands but many are not received because of spam filters. The emailsmainly serve to keep people aware that they are in the queue and not to worry.

When the process nears completion they will not rely on email but will instead be calling people because they have to close the loans within 30 days of approval by the investors (and they have to process a lot of paperwork during those 30 days).

Queen Creek was a broker, meaning thatthey taketheir cut and forward the paperwork and the proper fee to Addvent Funding. At that point, the deal iswith them and Queen Creek is out of the picture. The gentleman I spoke with was amazed at the high up-frontfees Queen Creek charged(he said their (Addvent Funding's)charge is much less than $5500) but they have no control over the fees brokers can take.

If you haven't been hearing from Addvent Funding, I suggest calling or writing them. Their contact information is on the internet. They are well aware of the situation with Queen Creek Mortgage aka Mortgage Protection Group and have been flooded with calls recently. They are interested in making sure we get our loans, and I was told they accepted over 100 applications without the fee because they knew those people had put their money down and they wanted to make sure they were taken care of properly.

I feel a lot better now. I hope it helps you.

I feel very badly for you and can relate to what has happened as i was also scammed by a similar company called (((Redacted))) as they ran the same scam but charged $1595.00 instead of the $5500.00 you paid Queen Creek Mortgage/ MPG.The Attorney Generals office has shut them down and filed charges against them as well.I saw the article in yesterdays Az Republic newspaper and according to what i read they were claiming a 92% success rate when infact it was ZERO % success. This company is no different than the (((Redacted))) and should be handled the same way by consumers and that is to file a complaint with the AG's office and then hope for the best to get a refund of some sort. From the experience i have had with the (((Redacted))) fiasco no one to this point has gotten anything back in the way of a refund except for the fortunate few that recieved one from Bryan Prehoda[master mind of the GGF scam] before they were shutdown by the AG's office and Dept of Financial Institutions in may 2010. I highly recomend you keep your foot on the gas pedal and do not let up until you have exhausted all recourse in getting this resolved.I know that law enforcement is working on the GGF scam at present but i do not know when it will be resolved. You might also call the FBI office in Phoenix to ask them if they are working on this as well because they may be possibly. These companies are proliferating across the nation it seems with several in the hardest hit states[Az;FL;CA;and NV] as that seems to be a prime market for these scammin assholes. There is another called Atlantic Mutual back east i believe that recently closed there doors as well because of rampant fraud allegations[probably true i would assume] you can read about them on (((Redacted))) and find out all the horror stories relating to them.

Lastly for those out there that are considering using one of these scam companies my suggestion is DO NOT for any reason regardless of the BS they spue out of there lying mouths get involved and pay them anything as you will ultimately meet the same fate as others have.Lenders and investors are not willing to sell these loan portfolio's to anyone at a reduced dollar amount despite what these losers are telling people.(((Redacted))) closed ZERO loans  with no PRP in any of the 3000-4000 files they had in their hands and i can tell you that they ripped people off for millions of dollars that will hopefully someday be partially recouped to some degree for all those that lost there hard earned dollars.I realize that you probably thought like we did that you were making a wise informed decision when you decided to go forward with this opportunity so do not feel bad because there were alot of super smart people that got sucked in by the (((Redacted))) scam including some lawyers from what i have been told. All we can hope for at this time is that these derelict losers get whats coming to them in a prison for a lengthy period of time but who knows if that will happen given our judicial system and the way it is administered to white collar crime.I guess only time will tell but stay persistent by all means.

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome!
