I was recently called by a recording stating that there was a company that could help home owners with their mortgages. It stated that they would help me lower my interest rates and help if one had fallen behind on their monthly payments. I was in need of help and was transferred to a telemarketer who said he could help lower my interest rate.
He gave me a price of $199 and said they would send out a packet to my house, and that I could mail or fax it back to them to get started. They said the $199 price was the price to get started right away. They told me it should arrive at my house by three business days.
It has been almost a month now and I have not received anything. I have called them multiple times only to be put on hold or hung up on. I told them that I wanted my money back, and so I was transferred to Chris Martinez. He told me he would refund my money, but I never received it. Now whenever I call and ask for him, and state why I am calling he never picks up or returns any of my calls.
Mortgage Shield USA does nothing more than screw over the little guy who can't pay their bills, and makes them pay a few hundred dollars for nothing. I want everyone to know how despicable Mortgage Shield USA is.

I got the same call, and was ready to send in the money yesterday when I decided to look up the company online and see if they were members of BBB, and I saw your reoprt. It really did sound too good to be true, but I would have done it if it weren't for your letter. Your article saved me money, time and aggrivation. I'll continue with my re-finance plan. period, Your disabled and can't afford a measly $3500 and wonder why your being foreclosed on? Maybe because don't qualify for a loan and can't buy a house. 12 PERCENT TO 6 PERCENT FOR THE LIFE OF THE LOAN, Thats pathetic, you could do better with a credit card.

COMPLETELY NOT A RIP OFF! My family and I were in foreclosure and had a sale date of July 25th 2008. By that following Monday they had my $3,500 in late payments deferred to the back of my loan and had my interest rate lowered from a 12% adj to 7.7 Fixed for the life of the loan. I am disabled and on a fix income and still had the mortgage company work with me. And to say you did not receive a refund is a typical complaint that all businesses deal with. This company saves homes from foreclosure especially in a time like this when its needed. Seriously now tighten up. -Sharol

Our company works very hard to modify and correct mortgages for people that have fallen behind. There are several shady companies that promise the world for thousands of dollars. The charge for our service is minimal for the service we perform. Unfortunatley, the demand for our service has increased greatly because of the market condition. We have outgrown our space and are in the process of hiring more people to aid in the overwhelming response to our program.
