I sent Ken Zeigler a carburetor to be rebuilt. He asks for payment in advance so I sent him a check with the carburetor. He immediately cashed the check and now I can't get a response out of him at all. It has been three weeks now and I don't even know if I will ever see my carburetor again. Meanwhile my motorcycle is sitting because it obviously can't operate with out one.

This is an old bike and the carburetor is virtually impossible to find or replace. So he has put me in a very difficult position for sure. The carburetor is worth much more than the rebuild price. Now I just want my carburetor back. Beware of this man and his shady business. I think he is just a thief.

The customer who sent this carburetor to me to be rebuilt has long ago received his carburetor back in excellent condition. The wait time on the rebuild kit was much longer than expected, so it wasn't sent back in the amount of time promised. The customer proceeded to call me a thief because I had his carburetor longer than expected. Most consumers do not realize the complexity involved in correctly cleaning & rebuilding a carburetor, so they send them to someone who does, and then verbally abuse them when it isn't finished on time. We live in a society where people tell you "no hurry"...when they really mean they cannot wait on anything in life & want it done the day you receive it. It can either be done "right", regardless of the time taken, or it can be done fast. You can't have both in the world of carburetor rebuilding.
