Movers Of The Valley, Anthony Alawy Owner And Cheater. Movers of the valley kept chaning pricing and holding my furniture hostage unitil I paid. Did not honor my insurance claims. told me I gave up my right to claim insurance, but would not tell me why or show proof That I did not buy insurance, which in fact I did buy $50 worth of insurance. He kept the money and never bought the insurance, but said he did. More thievery. Charged more during move Mesa Arizona
Contracted Tony to move me from Mesa, AZ to St. Peters MO. contract amount was $3500 to unload from warehouse (furniture was in storage) and drive to Missouri, unload. I paid extra to have my belongings insured up to $50.000. 3 times during the drive he told me he would turn the truck around if I did not give him another $200.00 plus pay him the balance due before he would allow anythink taken off the truck.
I had no choice but to pay his blackmail and extorted rates because I wanted my furniture. However when the furniture arrived. There was over $1300 in damages. When I called him to report the damage he said tough, you gave away you right to any damages. After I got the truck unloaded, I promptly drove to my bank and cancelled a $1250 check. With all the damage I have discoverd so mary he owes me $300. I am counter suing for over $2000 and may go after him for pain and suffering. My lawyer is sorting it out know and is is getting it moved from Small Claims ct. (He is suing me for the 1254. He has lost these suits in the past and just doestn't pay. So thats the kind of guy you are dealing with it you use him. He ususes illegal aliens to load the trucks to. I have turned him in the the INS, so I guess he won't be doing that for awhile.
Please stay away from the guy. He has damaged my personal keepsakes, refused to pay for them or have them fixed.
He is a bad man and you will regret ever doing business with him. I know I did.

We never even got to sort this out in court, and would love to see pictures of this so called damage. I am being accused of all of this, with nothing to substantiate your claims. I don't think I would be in Mesa Arizona, doing business for over thirty three years ifthis is the way I am accused of doing business. I think this is a case of a man that did not have theintention of payingfor a move like this in the first place. Also every employee at Movers of the Valley, has been verified to reside in the United States, and our payroll company can back that up.
