Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I went to Movie Works on 7-27-09 to sign up for crowd scenes in movies. After I filled out their form, Barbara Capra noticed that I was in the engineering field and said you are just the type of person she wanted because 'I was intelligent and just the right age.

I signed up for a one-time-fee of $300 then they took pictures of me.  I came back on the 29th for more pictures and returned the following day to review the pictures.  At the beginning of the review she mentioned about some additional costs.  I wanted her to pick out the pictures to post, then I asked her about the additional costs.

She quoted me $460 for additional pictures which I would give to the person who would interview me for the movie part.   In realty, all Barbara would have to do is email the existing photos to the interviewer.

I told her I would contact her on Monday and she dropped the price to $108.  I left and called her and left a message requesting my $300 back.  She called the next day and said NO.  She was not even afraid of me when I told her I ran for judge in the past.  I told her see you in court.

Barbara Capra age 76 has this sweet demeanor, only to suck you in.  I dont see how 1) she can live with herself  2) still be in the business.   The courts should shut them down.  Barry Farner should fire her on ethics alone.   Gee, maybe hes just like her.   Well, con artists dont go to heaven.

Again, in this day and age when most are fighting crime, how a company who scams, can have an office on Indian School, and STILL BE IN OPERATION!  Disgusting.

I am surprised that an well educated person still poses no threat to her. If you look in the lobby you will find a lot of different types of people, but most are unemployed people trying to make an extra buck, When your down the offer of becoming a star seems appealing. I almost fell for this, but luckily I didn't. I'm sorry you haven't got your money back and wish you the best of luck in suing this fraud of a company. They have been in business for a long time doing this exact same thing, I hope they shut down soon, or at least i would think Barbra has scammed enough people to retire soon. Hope next of kin doesn't take over :) Anyway shut them down and you got my vote!!!
