I answered an email invitation to come-in for a FREE talent assessment. When all said and done, I was charged $300 membership fee to be part of their network. They used a $50 cheap 2.0 megapixel digital camera to shoot my portfolio. I asked for a refund next day and they said that there was no refund because my membership was already activated using a cheap digital camera photos. This company also lied to my credit card company about service being rendered. We are planning on reporting to BBB, FTC regarding their business practices and other public enforcement agencies including local media. This is a RIP-OFF operation run by sharks by the name of Patrice who is the owner and Lance, her sales associate. I strongly asked ALL to stay away from this company and not do business with them what so ever. A real professional talent agency recruits top talent and does not require a $300 membership fee. Real talent agency actually pays for your portfolio and other tools needed to get you a job. Standard 10-15% commission is the normal rate if you are hired for jobs. This is the standard business practice....never pay an upfront a $300 membership/database fee!

In defence to MovieWork Now the camera they use are professional cameras with professional lighting. Those camera are very expensive and cost way more then $50.00. Infact they might be more then 10 times that. The pictures they produce are used to get jobs. Ernie didn't understand that he was responding to an advertisement to sell him something. I must admit MovieWork Now did use an ad that would appear that they were looking for people to employ when they were looking for people to expand their services to the movie industry. Meaning they indirectly are looking for people to employ. Ernie didn't have to spend any money when he got there. Ernie just didn't understand what was going on around him. Now that is not MovieWork Now's proplem. That is Ernie's problem. Bill
