Run, do not walk, from these fellows. They will say anything to get you to sign a lease. They will tell you a property is quiet, they will promise to fix problems, they will say all the right things.
Then you sign a lease and you can begin your year of misery. They will tell you the RG&E is only around $80. Try closer to $300, and that is for a one bedroom. The RG&E worker who came out in response to my incredulous complaint said he was very familiar with these guy's properties. No storm windows, no insulation, terrible rot and mold in the walls...
The washer and dryer in the building haven't worked since I moved in, despite several emails and calls. Also, the hot water heater never is hot enough, so haven't had a hot shower since I moved in. Again, they ignore my contacts. Only 2 drawers work in my kitchen, one of the pilot lights doesn't want to stay lit, the smoke detectors are all detached and without batteries, there are no fixtures on most of the lights, all three hall lights have been out for 4 months, leaving the common areas in complete darkness.... They swore there were no children in the building, but there are 2 families with children! And a large dog that barks constantly. (Despite being told that dogs were not allowed in the building)...I could go on and on.
The only time they respond is with nasty emails stating that you are making up complaints - you will say "My toilet is clogged and overflows nearly everytime I flush it" and they will respond with " well, no one else has complained."
Check the public record - they have been sued over two dozen times for not returning security deposits, for misleading tenants, for unsafe living conditions...
RUN AWAY!!!!!!!!!
