MP3DownloadHQ.com SCAM, FRAUD, THEFT California
This company claims to provide "free" MP3 downloads.
I tried to download Frostwire, which claims to a be a free software program, and I got a link to this company, MP3DownloadHQ.com
I downloaded this software in August 2006. The software which was supposed to be free, I thought, claimed that I needed to pay 23.00 dollars to get a lifetime subscription.
Well according to my bank statement I was charged 51.29.
Needless to say I'm not happy about that. But nonetheless I used to software.
It worked for about a week. The downloads were ridculously slow. Then after a month I could not even get the program to initialize.
While looking on the Frostwire site for info, I noticed a paragraph that said, "Frostwire is a free program, if you were charged then you were scammed".
My bank won't refund my money back into my account. I called the number that was listed and was immediately transferred to some foreign (possibly India) country's company. The man answered the phone as a MP3 support agent. However when I started talking he hung up on me.
I read several reports on-line about this company, something has to be done. People are getting their money stolen. Please help!!
