I was a repeat customer to MP4Nation. This was my 4th purchase from the site in 2 years.
I ordered a mobile internet device, "APAD", from MP4Nation for $150.00. The unit functioned for approximately 7 days, then the menu button broke off and fell inside of the unit. Attempts to retrieve the button were made at the suggestion of the site moderator, "RAZ" but it was lodged inside.
I opened a support ticket on the site and a several days later, I was instructed via e-mail to ship the unit back to Hong Kong at my expense, costing $35.00.
I did as instructed. Per USPS Tracking, the package cleared customs and was delivered 5 days later. I waited an additional 3 weeks with no reply. After reviewing my support ticket, I noticed that it was CLOSED. I re-opened the ticket and requested follow up. A few days later, I received a reply that a replacement unit would be shipped to me.
A week after relieving the reply, I received A SECOND REPLY stating that they just noticed the screen on the unit was broken, I was blamed for doing it and my warranty was voided!?!?
I got no replacement and no refund.
The site has received NUMEROUS complaints about this unit. MP4NATION has stopped selling the unit. No apologies or refunds to those burned by this defective unit, not even a discount on an alternate mobile internet device was offered to all who have had experienced the same issues with the APAD and other problems, rendering it useless.
