MPS known as MPHONESITE.COM is a scam and a rip off.  It offer to the public the chance to create your own website and earn money from those site, while they recieve 30% commission. Here's why I say this. They have worker poses as customers and call you in order to make their site look legit. Call come in very irregular as if they take turn calling different website to add certain amount to accounts. About a month ago I spoke with the owner name Gary regarding a withdraw payment I made and I get not recieve my money.

Gary told me verbally that his company suffer credit card scams that resulted over 10.000.00 worth and our payments would get tied up. I told him that I cant wait to get paid because I'm in extended stay and I need my money to pay rent. Gary sent me a emergency moneypak card. so I said wow that good, just as long as I get paid for what I earned honestly. Then as the week progress, I start to notice as I did my withdraws request to get paid. their direct deposit payment that use to take 3 days to recieve start stretching to 5 days, this was after he told me that everything is now under control. Well the five days wait to get paid was throwing me off with my rent at the extended stay and the money I earned from my site, I use to pay rent and take care of my family. So I kept asking for emergency moneypak in order for me to stay current with my rent and keep the children in our household with a roof over their head. On Friday April 6th I ask for another emergency moneypak.

Gary sent me a email that stated we cant give out anymore moneypak until you send ID to verify. Why, now did he ask for this? I got very weary about sending my ID to a website that can just shutdown your accounts with them or just shut-down altogether over night. I told him I really need it to, he told me it will come direct deposit. which is throwing me behind in rent and causing my family to suffer homelessness. This company never have a live customer service agent to answer questions, the phone ring 24 hours a day and go straight to voice mail. Every once in a while Gary the owner may pick up. When I couldnt reach no one in customer service, this made me nervous and weary about the site. This is why I wanted to be paid through moneypak, at least I know that I had my money I earn, just incase they try to not find a reason to pay people.

Because I didnt send my ID I now facing being homeless with kids. But I sent this website all my banking information along with my credit card information that they say is for verification purpose and the banking information is for withdraw payments. Why did I as a consume have to send anymore information. On friday he told me that he had to use my ID for tax purposes in order for me get another emergency moneypak card. If having my ID was as serious as he's now claiming, then why Gary didnt address the importance of this matter early, when he sent me the other money pak? His business practice is unethical, and he doesnt treat you like you are truly a webowner as they advertise, if you complaint against the site, he shuts down your website with warning or proper notice and they way how the economy are and jobs are hard to find. A lot of people use these website as a way to bring in some kind of income for their family.

Gary treat you like you dont have a right to complaint about the way the website is ran, its like he take it too personal and as a result, he shuts down your website to show you a lesson. That not how you conduct business, you should be able to communicate prperly with consumers and listen to the reason why they are making a complaint. When consumer cant get a hold of a customer service agent, it makes them frustrated and weary about your business. And if I'm a bad person for just wanting what I work for so be it. I just wanted what I work hard for.

I have been working with MPS for more than a year and never had a problem getting paid.

Yes they require normal accounting details for payout, such as an ID and (if in the US), a W9 form.  ANY account or professional business owner will tell you that these details are required for tax and security reasons.

This company is not a scam, and in my opinion very professional.

Formal Rebuttal

#5REBUTTAL Owner of company

This is a formal rebuttal to the outrageous and slanderous compliant.  This rebuttal will be followed by a legal request to identify the poster and a lawsuit will be filed for defamation.

The idea that ripoffreport can host such a false claim with no proof is incredible scary..

As you may have noticed from the lengthy complaint the former user stated that she was asked to present a government issued photo id in order to receive payment from our company.  She refused to do this.  It seems she was fine with using our platform to accept calls, but did not feel she had to provide us any information about herself.

This, along with several other issues, is why her payments were frozen.  During this time our company just started and we grew very quickly.  The success was great but with any start up company there are bumps along the way.  At that time we were offering payments via green dot because it was a fast and easy way to transfer payments.

However when we started to experience a spike in fraudulent transactions we had to make some adjustments.  This occurred during a two week period in early 2012 and after a full review we found that some providers were involved.  The person that wrote this complaint is one of the users that we were able to trace fraudulent transactions to.

Therefore we had to add a great deal of new security measures and start requiring all users to validate their accounts by providing a government issued photo id and W9 form.  This is standard procedure.  In fact companies that employ contract workers must have these files as a requirement of the IRS.  I'm sure most of you realize that revenue must be reported and a company cannot claim deductions for contract employee payouts unless they have a W9 form and identification.  This is why contract workers are required to submit these details and receive a 1099 at the end of the year.

We requested this several times only to receive complaints from the user stating that she was not required to reveal her identity.  *Please keep in mind that this occurred during the time that we were able to directly trace multiple fraudulent transactions directly to her account.

Her account was closed and we worked with local authorities to press charges.  Due to the lack of proper identification the investigation is still open.

However I will formally issue a legal request to ripoffreport to (hopefully) expose the identity of the poster.  I can provide details from the initial investigation if needed.

This will be followed by a lawsuit and potential criminal charges.  This is a very serious matter.

MyPhoneSite.com is a great company and we have a dedicated and talented team.  We have worked extremely hard over the past 2 years to improve our services and offer the best pay per minute platform possible.  It deeply upsets all of us to see such slanderous comments from this person.

Fortunately we have experienced consist growth and on-going development.  We recently added Master Status Management System, New Customer Icon Features, and Customer Feedback and Tip Options.  We are currently developing a pay per minute chat system with cam to cam capability.

We genuinely care about our company and we are grateful for those that use our services.  Please visit our site and see all that we have to offer.  The claims from this poster our completely unjustified.
