After 3 months of trying to get my refund, Mr. Tire (aka Monro Muffler Brake) finally resolved my complaint and is going to issue a refund and give me a gift certificate. I filed a complaint with the Maryland Attorney Generals Office Consumer Protection Division in October 2011 and today November 8, 2011 I received a reply from the Attorney Generals Office and Mr. Tire. Mr. Tire's response was 2 sentences. "All Mr. _____ had to do is call our customer service number when he had this problem and we would have handled his issue at the time. His requested refund of $12.72 will be sent to him and we will send him a gift certificate for future services." To sum things up, I did send an email to customer service and received no response and I did file a complaint with the BBB and Mr. Tire did not respond. The Attorney Generals Office was my last resort because obviously Mr. Tire had no intention to respond to my complaint. A big thank you to the staff of the Maryland Attorney Generals Office.

Mr Tire aka Monro Muffler Brake is not a member of the Better Business Bureau. I tried filing a complaint with the BBB against Mr Tire but after 5 weeks they did not respond to my complaint so the BBB dropped my case. My next step is to file a complaint with the Maryland Attorney General's Consumer Protection division.
