Would you like to be fired because you have to miss work to go to your Grandfather's funeral? Would you like to be the victim of sexual harassment? How about double standards? Favoritism? Incompetent managers? Anyone? There is no training at this job. Then, if you can't learn it yourself, you're gone. Even if you do manage to get it down, like I did, the boss may not like you, where you come from, your reluctance to be a swindler, the fact that you won't wear makeup or don't have a boyfriend. Oh the looks you will get if that is the case!
And when you do get fired, which you probably will, you won't see it coming. There are no reviews. They have these huge spurts of writing everyone up to insure the fodder is there should they feel like letting someone go. Can't have any lesbians working there! Good God! What will the phones thing! And the softwear?!?!
Then the sales manager will swear and cuss at you as you walk out of the building asking him, "what is going on?" Do yourself a favor and get a real job, not this boiler room "opportunity." You'll be lucky if you make 10K in 6 months, and that is with disrespect and indecency breathing down your neck every day, knowing that your "at will" employment could be terminanted at any moment.
They will fire you for asking questions about mistakes in payroll or on the time clock. They will fire you if you look too closely at their practices. They will expect you to stay late without pay. They will literally ask you to come in on Sunday, off the clock! They will fire you for requesting copies of your timeclock report because it will show they are being fraudulent and not paying you when they should.
Get a real job!!!! Don't work here!!!!! I would predict there is a 88% chance you won't be there 4 months after your start date. The owners are greedy capitalists who don't care if you get sick and have to go to the ER. They will still fire you, or get someone else to, for missing work. They will fire you for missing work because you go to an out of state funeral. All they want is an automaton in a chair dialing the phone and signing up takers.
You barely get any commission at all on your sales! You probably don't even get 5% when all is said and done.
Do yourself a favor & keep looking. GET A REAL JOB, not one with this chop shop.

I completely agree with the post above, stating that this company should be "avoided like the plague".

I wanted to throw in my two cents -
I left this company on good terms and have no specific gripe with them.
I did want to say that while I dont know the specifics of the complaints in here,
most of what they say ring true.
MST Financial provided a completely hostile work environment. Almost everyone I ever interacted with there was under daily fear of getting fired for one reason or another.
My fondest memory of MST was when Michelle came onto the sales floor and announced
something like "If anyone here wants to f**cking challenge me or tell me how to run my F***cking company you can get the f**ck out of here" or something to that effect after the floor manager had the audacity to suggest a better way to do things.
The irony of it is that if they cared to foster a positive environment they would wind up making more money for themselves.
Just wanted to make the point -- these arent just disgruntled ex-employees with a grudge, this is the general consensus from people who have worked here.
Please take a little bit longer to find a job and avoid this place like the plague.

Nice job skirting all the issues. Yeah, Julie told me about the grandfather incident. That was priceless, a new low even for you. And how many people with more write ups &/or violations than her are still working for you? I really wonder how you'll stand up after the Colorado Dept of Labor investigates your time clock practices. Let's see. And when you fire people for orientation, gender, just to clarify, it's not really being an equal opportunity employer. If you think about it a while, it might start to make sense.

Our company let Julie go to her grandfather's funeral after many other absences in a short period of time (the grandfather funeral gave up who you are)
l*****n and sexual harassement? We have been in business for many years and this subject has never come up because we are an equal opprotunity employer
No training? Julie, you were the most trained and the most complained about because of your failure to learn from training
Swindling? Considering you were not empowered to sell anything I find it difficult to understand how you can "swindle" anything offering a free and no obligation service. I also wonder why you would be upset about your departure from a company you claim is in the wrong?
No job reviews? Your file is full of job reviews and the corresponding disciplinary actions.
Boiler Room? We are in a 12,000 square floor downtown facility that is anything but this
We are capitalists that perform an honest days work for an honest return
We do not want automated anything. This is a specializwd field that requires massive training and supervision. It is not for everyone and especially not this person.
