FRAUD!!!! SCAM!!!!

Now, to add insult to injury, Mr. Grundy has shown what he is really all about. His site for the podcast has been down for over 2 weeks at this point, WITH ONE EXCEPTION... THE "PREMIUM MEMBER SUBSCRIPTION PAGE IS THE ONLY PAGE THAT WORKS.

Something smells very rotten in Australia right now. Shutting down all production and forums while still allowing people to suscribe to a non-existent service??? Wow, Mr. Grundy, you are really scummy. It's such a coincedence that you still make it possible for people to go to PayPal and apply for a recurring payment that goes to a guy who disappeared a while ago, and puts out no product, and treats people who want a refund like whining jerkoffs... you have no business ethic whatsoever.

PEOPLE, DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THIS SERVICE!!! YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF! If you have applied for the "Premium" (what a joke) service, remember to go to PayPal to make sure you have cancelled your subscription, OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED ON A RECURRING MONTHLY BASIS. Also, while you are there, be sure to file a dispute/complaint about Mr. Grundy's SCAM.

If PayPal isn't notified, and you do nothing about this, more people will fall into the same trap... and Mr. Grundy will continue to be bankrolled for whatever in the mysterious universe he is up to... I envision him drinking himself into a stupor with friends and laughing like crazy that he doesn't have to work this month to pay his rent.

Mysterious Universe is NOT a scam. As a subscriber from the very first episodes, I can testify to the extremely high quality content that has been produced for listeners FREE of charge. The show is still free and listeners have the choice to become Premium members for which they receive extra listening material. Although the show release has been inconsistent, what listeners have been receiving far exceeds the value of $5 per month. Similar quality products can cost up to $29.95 per month with no free content offered. This small subscription fee enables the producer to subsidise the many hours it takes to research and produce such a program and produce a high quality website for the use of it's listeners. There is a very high level of support from the Mysterious Universe Fan base for Mr Grundy who is experiencing some unforseen circumstances. When self employed the individual put's everything on the line to provide their services without the security net of full time employment. For someone new to the realm of self employment providing such a high quality production, I think a little tolerance can be afforded until they get off the ground. I must also draw attention to the fact that an ongoing subscription service payment is exactly that, an ongoing subscription, and is subscribed to until the customer chooses to cancel the subscription. The PayPal subscription system as used by Mysterious Universe, is used worldwide by millions and well known in the USA. There is no 1 month subscription only option with Mysterious Universe. There is a big red CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION button on the subscription page for you to cancel your subscription. If you sign up for a subscription be aware of what you are committing to as it is your responsibility as a consumer.

This customer was unfortunately not capable of reading or understanding the terms when signing up for his/her membership. The customer received 5 months of emails from PayPal notifying him/her of their continued subscription yet we were never contacted for cancellation. In addition all Paying Members of our service have been offered refunds and all requests have been fulfilled. This customer was given a refund in full.
