Murphy Oil USA Murphy Oil Corp. Gas was put in DIESEL Tank Wynne, Arkansas
On Sunday Jan. 23 2011, my husband stopped in Wynne AR. to top off his truck with diesel fuel at Murphy USA station. As he was pumping what he thought was diesel fuel a man walk up to him and asked him to smell a liquid in a can. As he smelledthe liquid he realized it was not fuel but gasoline. The man told him he had filled his truck up the night before andit would not start, as he checked it out he found gasoline in his truck instead of diesel fuel. He had came to the station to check it out. Aftermy husband hadalready filled his truck up, they checked the fuel coming out of pump it was also gasoline instead of diesel fuel. He then went to the cashier and explained what had happen, they gave him a fit over fit wanted him to pay for gas/fuel. Also told him ifhe did not pay he would be report as adrive off. As one cashier smelledthe liquid she also agreed that it was gas not fuel. They contacted the manger and he said they would write it off. Four hours late my husband finally got all the gas outofhis tank and it all cleaned up so the truck would run. I have called the MurphyOil Corp and noone has returned any of my calls. I think we need to be reimbursed for the fuel that was already in he truck and the time ittook for my husband to fix the huge mistake Murphy Oil's driver made on his delivery.The tanks are color coated and he should have been more careful.
