I saw the complaint by Donald and all I can say is this is either a disgruntled ex-employee, or just someone with a chip on his shoulder.

Yes, the board-up guys do show up quickly, but so did about 4 other company's board-up guys. I chose the company that I felt good about using, because they were companionate and courteous. They recommended I call Musick Loss Management to help with adjusting my claim. At that time I had never even heard of a public adjuster, and asked why I would call them instead of just using my insurance company's adjuster. He explained that a PA works for ME, not the insurance company, and that they protect your interest, and make sure you get everything you're entitled to. I took his card and said I would think about it. When I called my mom and dad later that night, they mentioned that their next door neighbors had used this public adjuster several years prior when THEY had a fire.

My mom went next door to ask the neighbors if they could remember who they had used. She called me right back and, to my surprise, told me they had used Musick Loss Management, and that they couldn't have been happier with how they handled their case, and with the settlement they got, so yes, they DID remember their name, in fact they had recommended them to other people who had losses. So I called MLM then next day. They gave me a list of references - people and companies that had used them for their losses, and I spent the afternoon calling about a dozen of them. Everyone had nothing but nice things to say about this company. So, I called them and asked them if they could help me with my claim. I spoke with Mark Musick, and he explained how they are almost always able to get more from the insurance company than they would give me because they watch out for you, and are more detail oriented. This was especially important because I had some very nice cabinets and flooring in my home that was not even that old.

Oh yes, of course they do not do this for free. They charge a fee for their services but because of their experience and professionalism they were able to get me everything I was entitled to from the insurance company, and took away all of the frustration and aggravation that I would have gone through in dealing with the insurance company on my own. They were very nice and extremely helpful to me and my family. They helped put us up in another place while our home was being cleaned and repaired and the smoke smell and water gotten rid of. They sent a nice woman out to take inventory of all our personal belongings and she was very thorough and efficient. We also used them to do the repairs on our home, and I was very pleased with the quality of their work.

All in all I would have to say that they took a very bad situation and helped me through it in the least painful way possible.

I am sorry about your experience Donald, but I cannot imagine that you are the norm, if in fact you really did have a bad experience, and are not just some disgruntled ex-employee, unhappy insurance adjuster, or even an unfriendly neighbor.

I can't say enough nice thing about Musick Loss Management, and I would hope that people reading this site don't take this Donald guy at his word.

Call MLM and you will find out for yourself that this company is most definitely NOT a rip-off or a scam. They are just a business that truely cares about people, at least in MY OPINION.

I just read the complaint by Donald, and all I can say is this is either a disgruntled ex-employee, or just someone with a chip on his shoulder. They recommended I call Musick Loss Management to help with adjusting my claim. She called me right back and, to my surprise, told me that the neighbor had used Musick Loss Management, and that they couldn't have been happier with how they handled their claim and were very happy with the settlement they got. They recommended MLM very highly, saying that they had made their difficult situation so much easier to handle. So I called Musick Loss Management then next day. They gave me a list of references - - people and companies that had used MLM for their losses. I spent the afternoon calling about a dozen of them. Everyone I called had nothing but nice things to say about this company and recommended them highly. So, I contacted MLM, spoke with Mark Musick, and he explained how they watch out for you and your interests, how they have extensive knowledge of building architecture, and are very detail oriented. This was especially important because I had recently remodeled my home, and had installed some very nice custom cabinets and granite flooring. Yes, of course they charged a fee. I mean, they ARE a business - duh! But because of their experience and professionalism they were able to get me everything I was entitled to from the insurance company, so I totally feel it was worth it! They also took away all of the frustration and aggravation that Im sure I would have gone through if I had to deal with the insurance company on my own. They were very nice and extremely helpful to me and my family. They helped put us up in another place while our home was being cleaned and repaired and the smoke smell and water gotten rid of. They sent a nice woman out to take inventory of all our personal belongings. She, too was very thorough and efficient. We also used Musick Loss Management to do the repairs on our home, and I was very pleased with the quality of their work. I am sorry about your experience Donald, (if in fact you really DID have a bad experience, and are not just some disgruntled ex-employee or unhappy insurance adjuster) but I cannot imagine that you are the norm or that you speak for most clients of this company. It is a shame how easy it is for someone to slander other people on the internet. I can't say enough nice things about Musick Loss Management, and I would hope that people viewing this site don't take this Donald guy too seriously. Call Musick Loss Management and Im sure you will find out for yourself that this company is most definitely NOT a rip-off or a scam. They are just a business whose business happens to begin with a tragedy, but does their best to help you through it. They truly seemed to care about me, and were invaluable in my personal situation.
