MxM David Griffiths and Jeff Jensen Never paid, late payments, payroll, wrongful termination, wage claim Internet
MxM and David Griffiths (along with his "bonehead"--as Griffiths has called him behind his back--lapdog, Johnathan Pemberthy and their evasive and slippery CFO, Jeff Jensen) treated my husband as if he was a wage slave, and he was a salaried employee. They had him working nights nearly every night during the entirety of his employ and near the end of his time there, pay checks would start coming a week late, or he'd only get partial payments with the promise of making it up later. After nearly 3 months of this bull hockey, he finally wrote a letter of demand asking for his backpay and mentioned that if he was not paid those monies, he would file a wage claim form with the state of UT. The fired him within an hour of this e-mail. This is illegal, and they, by law, had 24 hours to pay him all monies owed. It has been over a month and we are still without the money they owe him. We have since filed the wage claim and are waiting for that to go through. Every time we ask if his check is ready, they tell us "no" and say they just don't have the funds available. They have paid their other employees once before, all the while telling my husband that his paycheck was not available due to "banking issues" and lack of funding. We are in financial ruin now, and it's weeks before Christmas. We can't even buy our 2 small children gifts to put under the tree. It's heartbreaking, and it is all due to this horrid company.
I'd advise any person who is considering working for this company or doing business with them to seriously think twice. I have no reason to make this up. I am just telling everyone how it is, and how they've ruined our life as we knew it. I hope the state will help us in getting the money my husband worked hard to earn and that we so desperately need.

I worked at MXM for six months. I worked in the call center for two weeks and as a marketing coordinator for the rest of the time, so I feel that I have some credibility in what I am about to say.
David J. Griffiths is the biggest fraud of all time. He was always getting into trouble from the police. One time the police came by to confiscate all of his computers so he couldn't operate his business. He lied to the police by saying he didn't own the computers and that they were the property of his IT guy. I was in the back room when they were making this story up while the cops were waiting at the front entrance!
When I went to file my 2008 taxes, I called MXM to get my tax forms, as I had now moved out of state and could not pick them up. No answer. I called his wife, Sherri, who "claimed" that MXM was still operating and that David was at work - Lie #2. MXM shut down before this and a bunch of employees were sent home without paychecks and some of them owed in excess of $1,000 from David for their work. I later found out from another past employee that David did not file his taxes, therefore all the money he was taking out of his employees checks for taxes was going into HIS pocket! I did file a report with the IRS in May of 2008, but doubt anything ever came of that. David never returned any of my phone calls or messages that I left with his wife.
David currently lives in Spanish Fork, UT and continues to be a part of various MLM companies. He preys on honest, hard-working individuals by taking advantage of them and stealing their money.
