My Desktop Therapist - Likely Invasive Malware/Spyware/Virus No activation, contact page is fake (no SUBMIT, lol), no email response, crashed computer Salt Lake City Utah Internet
Submliminal software sounds great, doesn't it, even if the word 'subliminal' actually means "below detection"
In practice, we won't be finding out any time soon whether MyDesktopTherapist can actually serve as 'MY Desktop Therapist." - Best we can tell, it's strictly fake, phony, invasive, and not something we can recommend putting onto your computer, because it won't work! (Unless, of course, you wish to send Leon Jay or Shane Butler just $97
1) The program claiming to be MyDesktopTherapist installs invasively. Unusual for 'real' software, not so unusual for spyware/malware.

2) Claims it's free, but, upon install, requires email registration to acquire activation key (Day later, no response)

3) Crashed my sister's computer. I had the good fortune to use Sandboxie (highly recommended for everyone), so it did get into the registry. My sister was not so lucky. Took a bit of regedit surgery to get it out of her PC

4) No response to emails.

5) Mr. Butler's "contact page" has no SUBMIT button, lol, purely fake
Even their FB page has a fake COMMENT. This means that, when you comment, it goes directly to the box of the owner of the FB page, not to the timeline.
There is nothing to indicate that this is legit, and at least the aforementioned factors that indicate fraud & scam.
Can only suggest that it is wisest to consider this a bad idea. My Desktop Therapist is, in our findings, observation, and opinion, strictly a scam, a place to be avoided. This includes MyDesktopTherapist.com and, more recently added, MyDesktopTherapist.info. Let's take a quick look:
Leon Jay is the name at registrar for MyDesktopTherapist.com, hosted currently in Lansing Michican.
