My Free Travel Grocery & Gas Rebates Claim Your Visa Cards Scam - To Good To Be True Joliet, Illinois
My wife and I were also victums of the My Free Travel scam. We followed everything to a "T" and were told by "The Appliance Store" that it was a viable company. I had spoken to a customer service rep multiple times and was told our registrations were in "valid status." We to received the email about the three different options for possible redemption. We emailed them stating we were willing to wait an addtional 3 to 4 more months but wish to receive (24) $25 visa cards. Then today we received our Dec. receipts back, saying MOVED LEFT NO ADDRESS, return to sender.
We have been on-line reading all the others who are in the same boat. We also contacted our credit card company to file a dispute. We were told that since our purchase is greater than 120 days, we had no means to file a dispute on the product that we received. Especially, since we were filing the dispute against a 3rd party rebate company that is bankrupt.
We are very disappointed and hope that due to the volume of us who have been scammed, that in numbers we can make a difference. Please let us know any other options we may have ie. CLASS ACTION LAW-SUITE.
