www.mypartner.com represents that they are a website devoted to helping gay men meet other gay men who are interested in dating and a relationship. The questions to create your profile are very detailed and seem to back up their claim. Then on a link from their home page they state they offer 'professional matchmacking' services for $75,000. There website also has in huge font "24 hour customer service." However, there is no 24hour customer service, only a recording, and the phone is never answered. After I joined this site and paid for a year membership, I could actually view the profiles and see that all of the local men on this site never sign in or rarely sign in. Then upon further review, these ads were from the same individuals on free gay websites wanting sex and many of the ads specifically state they are only looking for sexual encounters. This is NOT a website for gay men interested in dating. Perhaps that was the initial goal, however it has turned into a wasteland of inactivity.
After the 2nd day, I tried to contact their customer service to cancel my account. First I got the recording, so I waited until the next day and tried earlier in the day. Still the same recording. Finally, I proceeded through their webform and asked them to cancel my account and refund my membership fees. They responded that I had exceeded the 3 day cancellation policy (by one day, because their website states they have 24hour customer service.) They refused to refund my money. They even went so far as to say, that they wanted me to remain on the website because of wanting to introduce my profile to one of their "Private, $75K clients" for a possible match. ALL LIES!
Even after disputing this issue with my credit card company, they refused to refund my membership costs.
Since I have joined and realized the scam of their website and service, I receive a weekly email showing who's viewed my profile. 99% of those who have viewed my profile are 1/2 my age and live in the Phillipines, VietNam, or other Asian countries and wanting someone to support their move to the USA and visa arrangements. This is NOT a site for gay men looking to date. It's a routine, run of the mill gay website where men are looking only for sexual encounters or financial compensation or assistance.
DON'T fall for their scam. Don't pay for their services. Don't even waste your time going through their lengthy sign up questionaire as it's all based on lies.
They provide no customer support, also a blatant lie on their website.
