Patricia "What kind of people can live with themselves doing this to hard-working folks struggling to raise families in blue collar America? Thank God for Rip-off Report." Your answer is simple my dear..... The only people that have to "live with themselves" are the owners who are raking in your cash. Do you honestly think that the employees are seeing much of your "hard earned money", or have any clue that they are ripping people off? Maybe, just maybe these "smooth talking scam artists" are just "hard-working folks struggling to raise families in blue collar America" and are wondering why someone with crappy credit would turn down a chance to rebuild it. Maybe they get told to F OFF hundreds of times a day when they really think they're trying to help people, and don't understand why people are so rude and mean to them. Maybe they are just as stupid as you were in trusting their employers, but speaking from experience - you are sorely misguided in whom you are placing the blame. If someone calls you to sell/give you something over the phone, tell them "thank you, but I don't want it. I appreciate your time and have a nice day." I can tell you that 95% of telemarketers fully believe that their product is legit and that they are only trying to help you. Politely saying "No" will go a lot further that F OFF, you won't get ripped off, and they won't get angry at your rudeness and put you on a callback list.
