It is the responsibility of all dog owners to ensure that the animal has been checked by a vet when they buy it. It is the responsibility of the breeder to provide information retaining to the animals health. With Parvo, it easily transmitted to puppies and therefore can be hard to control and cannot be anticipated. I have two dogs and bought one from zwergteckels. This owner is a family type owner who deeply cares for all her animals. My animal is healthy and has no issues. Unfortunately, this can happen to anyone. It is truly a tragedy that this happened to you. Make sure in the future, especially when purchasing an animal from so far away to have a contract agreeable to both parties and there is information on what to do in case of a similar health problem.

and you crossed state lines with that dog. You need to be reporting her to her breeder's association, the TX State Vet and your State Vet. Forward copies of your puppy's medical records along with your complaint. Contact the government office of the town where she is located (or county) and tell them that she has Parvo at her place of business.
