I answered a puppyfind.com ad for a puppy on March 28th, 2010. I called Nancy MCcullough on the phone and spoke with her concerning a chocolate male puppy she had listed on puppyfind.com for sale. His birthdate on puppyfind was 2/13/2010. She stated in that call that she could ship the puppy to me the next day. I told her he was only 6 weeks and 1 day onl and that it was against the law to ship a puppy before 8 weeks of age. She said in the State of Texas that wasnt the case and that her vet would write the helath certificate anyway. I ask her how many shots he had had and she told me he had only had one the day before when he turned 6 weeks old. I told her that I would rather her wait to ship until 8 weeks of age when he had had the second shot. I even offered to pay for it. She said she would keep him until he was 8 weeks old and then give him the second shot and ship him to me at that time. She then directed me on how to send her the $200 deposit to hold him and I did.  I contacted her again on April 5th, 2010 and ask for updated pictures of him and told her I was ready to send the agreed remaining balance of $700 and $250 more for shipping.  She sent me pictures at that time of a completley different dog. I called her on the phone about it and she first told me it was the same dog I saw the pictures of in her puppyfind.com ad and then when I told her I wasnt blind, She then admitted that she "barrowed" the pictures of another dog to use in the puppyfind ad because she was having internet problems when she placed that ad. She told me that the puppy she sent me pictures of earlier would look exactly like the puppy that was in the pictures posted in her ad on puppyfind when he was older. I told her I did not want another puppy other then the one I had sent a deposit on. She told me I had to take the puppy SHE chose for me or lose my $200 deposit. This "breeder" also told me that I must be stupid and that I should have known that there was no way that the puppy in the pictures in her ad on puppyfind was not 6 weeks old. That it was 12 weeks old! Now how would I know that? She is the "breeder". Not me.  So then she told me that the lady that she sold the actual puppy to that was in the pictures in the ad on puppyfind happened to drop in to her house to buy another puppy, and she said she would trade the dog she purcahsed from the pictures on puppyfind, For the one that Nancy wanted to send me. And that she would send me the actual dog in the pictures on puppyfind. I asked for pictures and no pictures. Only another email from Nancy telling me she could finally ship me the correct dog anytime I wanted. Without pictures or anything first. How can I trust her now? Never! I am contacting several different agencies in her area and in the USA. Not about the money, But about the fraud she is committing.
