Friday Oct 21 I stopped by Napeltons in schaumberg to look at a2007 sante fe listed at 13441 online and have my saturn aura trade looked at.  I was offered 8000 for my trade in writing and 6000 out the door for the sante fe. I decided to think about it.

I drove home to mchenry and found out my license plates were missing, Wow.  I called Kevin and he said they had took them off my accident so I had to drive back to pick them up.  I told Kevin the next day I would like to offer 5500 out the door he said they cant do that but 5800 out the door would work out but he was busy with another customer.

I went to take another look at the sante fe with another man because Kevin was busy with another customer, for some reason he made me go through the whole process again even though he had Kevins paperwork/offer right in front
of him.  This was a complete waste of my time because I was told the price of the sante fe would be my trade (8000 already offered) and 6000 including tax title and license so that is about 1000 over what I was already offered (by the way I have the written offer from Kevin on the back of his business card). I had to drive back about 30 miles to get my
license plates that were taken off without my permission which wouldnt havebeen bad if the offer given to me was for real, instead I got my offer jacked up over a grand, waste of gas, waste of time, and could not drive to work.

I have been offered 8000-9000 by three dealerships for my car including this one but this is the only dealerships that
will receive my complaints.  Poor service, lies, taking my license plates, my gas, time, what a shame.  An offer is an offer, reneging on an offer is a crime and a loss of my business and potentially others.  I will post this on face book and any other rating websites.  Kevin was cool but the people on Saturday really are crooks!

The General Manager and the other guy helping me were ridiculous, people like them are the reason business fail and complaints start, if they had any idea on good business they would have given me the offer already presented to me in writing twice!   The general manager didnt even apologize for this dealership stealing my plates, I could have been pulled over, given a ticket, and on top of it all I had to miss work.  Its a shame because I would have bought the
2007 Hyundai  sante fe, silver,  with a dent on the passenger side and scratches on the mirror at Napeltons in Schaumburg.  I talked with Brian the general manager after I sent him this email and he proceeded to tell me I was wrong and that they can take back any offer they want.  I said it had been 10 minutes since I received the offer and he said on the phone to bad and hung up!
