I think everyone needs to know the whole truth about this particular drug rehab facility, Narconon Stone Hawk, Battle Creek MI. You do not get the "goods" you are promised. My daughter entered the program in Nov. 07. It was a total surprised to me but you all know as parents we want to help our children anyway we can. I was call out the blue and had to sign and fax back this contract so she could enter. I thought I was doing the right thing. My daughter was not ready to miss the upcoming holidays so she returned to her home. With the promise that she could return and pick up on the day she had left.

For example she was there seven days and when she returned she would start on day 8. In January 08 she was ready to return and I was told I would pay a re entry fee to test her. I was a little skeptical about her staying and was guaranteed by Per Wickstrom she would stay 5 to 6 months and complete the program. Work for him and pay me back ........She called me on about 4 to 5 days into sauna treatment. She complained of how tired she was and how she was cramping. She was assured it was normal by the facility medical staff.

After becoming so ill one night she convinced the night watchman to take her to the hospital. There she learned of being pregnant and the doctor assured her she was way far enough along to have been detected upon her return to Narconon Stone Hawk Battle Creek MI. My daughtrer left the program immediately. Even one of the staff assured her she was doing the right thing.

I was charged an additional $18,500. for this. $3500 for the pregnancy test and $15,000 for the remainder of the program that was my understanding was due on the 30th day of stay.

My arguement is now if she had been told of the pregnancy when she arrived she would have never gone back into the program therefore the first $15,000. would have covered everything they were entitled too. And the contract I signed said the second $15,000 was not due until the 30th day which never happened either. I disputed this with my Visa and Narconon Stone Hawk, Battle Creek, MI sent them a different contract that was signed by someone else. Visa honored the forged contract and not the original one I supplied to them.

I guess they have now changed their name to The Freedom Center but it is still run by Per Wickstrom. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau of Michigan and they failed to answer.
