Contacted by this company today. (NAFS) A lady identified as "Elizabeth" stated she was calling about a debt I had incurred with a separate party.

I asked her what the name of her company was and she stated "National Action FEDERAL Services". I asked her if she was part of the federal government and she said that she was.

She then continued to say that because she was part of the federal government she was going to close all my bank accounts permanently if I didnt pay the balance within a 21 hour period of time.

She also said they were going to place a permanent delinquent record on my credit report that would NEVER come off. She then asked when I was going to get the money and WHERE I was going to get it from.

I reported this person to the ftc and I am waiting to contact her tomorrow and slam her with all these violations of the fair debt collection practices act. Now, where is my tape recorder?
