1. Send a dispute letter that your disputing the amount and do not put a money figure. On the same letter tell them that you are to cease and desist all attempts to collect on this debt. on the same letter tell them your sending a complaint to the FTC and New York Attorney General. they can not take any of your money if they try sue their pants off Mark
