Purchased warranty contract from Dealer Services / National Auto Warranty Services in June 07 put 495.00 down and took intrest free financing through MEPCO Financial for the balance. Payments are auto debited from checking on monthly basis, so no issues with late payments existed.

On February 13 2008 I brought my vehicle to the dealer for scheduled services, the vehicle also needed re[pairs that were covered under the warranty. When the dealer called the # listed on my warranty card, he got a recording transfering the call to the S. Carolina Insurance dept. The claim could not be processed, and I wound up paying out of pocket.

When I called from home I got the same message but was never connected to the dept of insurance (message states that your call is being fowarded to the S. Carolina Dept. of Insurance for processing). This went on for several days. Finally on the 22nd of Feb I got thru and actually spoke to someone at the S. carolina dept of Insurance. This person told me that they are not processing claims for NAWS and that the attorneys are waiting for NAWS to sign the paperwork releasing the funds so claims can be paid.

On march 3, 2008 I faxed, at the instructions of a claims rep named Barbara ,my invoice from the dealer for the work covered under the warranty. To this date I have not heard anything and calles to the Rep Barbara are not returned.

If you call the claim # you still get the message that your call is being processed by the S. Carolina Insurance dept. I have sent a letter to MEPCO, NAWS , and Dealer Services that since NAWS has defaulted in it's warranty agreement, auto payments to MEPCO have been stopped until the matter is resolved. I have heard nothing, and repeated calls go in full circle MEPCO > Dealer Services > NAWS > MEPCO and so on.
