My odyssey began with ehealhtinsurance.  I am a non-custodial parent of a child in a divorce.  I have to carry insurance for my child per state law.   This company contacted me in August.   I talked with an associate there and explained, I needed insurance for my child.  They said an adult had to be on the policy.  In the end, I signed up my soon to be ex-wife for insurance since our divorce is not finished/finalized.   I was in the process of trying to find insurance for my daughter.  I can't get insurance because of pre-existing conditions, my thought was pay for my ex and my daughter.  See?

After discussion with my attorney and review of the plan, this insurance was not adequate to meet the requirements.   I found out the policy was only for my wife, my child was not even covered!     This was not explained to me during the sales pitch at all.

I called to cancel this policy less than 24 hours later.   I was given a run around by front line people that my wife had to sign a letter, I couldn't cancel the policy ( thought it was billed to my credit card. )

I went through the hoops talking to people at this company and got bumped their chain of command after asking to speak with a manager about this issue.   I got a letter out to them in two days with my wife's signature cancelling the policy.

I've to see a refund.  I suspect they are going to try to debit my credit card again.  I have opened up a denial of payment with my credit card company stating these facts.  I have complied with National Better Living Associations policy for cancellation.  I sent the letter registered through the post office and have confirmed they have received the letter in question.    Given what I have seen of this company, it would behoove of you to please pass on this company.   There are a few things, names I have left out of this diatribe.  I was lied to and misled by their sales people from the get go.  Please be warned.
