National Business Publishing Corp. 13B Fax Scam to indicate our company's listing appears in the National Contractors Guide and wanting us to Fax back corrected information. Winnipeg Manitoba
This company has called us before, saying that it is time to pay for the second half of our advertising agreement. This is a SCAM don't fall for it. I finally figured out how to get them to stop and have warned all our our other employees if they call how to stop them. I tell them they do not have authorization for any listing based on a veral authorization because we only do written authorizations. They have their comebacks but I continue to insist they do not have authorization and they finally hang up on me. Now they are starting the fax scam to do the same thing.
They claim our company's listing appears in the National Contractors Guide seen throughout the U.S. If this was legitimite they would have a regular phone number to call. None listed. Only a fax number. A web search of their address shows about 10 other companies associated with the address, but none of them are the same as the fax: National Business Publishing Corp.
So no contact phone, no mapquest verification, no I will not respond to this fax, I believe it is a scam.
