National Business Publishing Corporation Sent a fax offering a free copy of National Restaruant Guide. We did not expect to be billed $199.oo....supposedly to cover the "cost of inclusion." We only wanted a free copy of the guide. New York, New York
We were sent a fax offering a "free copy" of the National Restaurant Guide...a copy only. We were later billed $199.00...to cover the "cost of inclusion" in the "free guide." We were billed by fax...with no return fax number, and no company telephone number...therefore no way to immediately cancel the charges...only the address to send the money. No way to contact this fraudulent company, which obviously does not want payment by credit card, as a credit charge can be disputed and reversed. These guys are "slick!"
