NES has complaints against it in several states. They obtain private cell phone numbers and unlisted numbers illegally and call at all hours of day and night to harrasses and then when you ask for proof of debt, they want fifty dollars to provide proof.

Company boasts it has over 1100 employees but thourgh review of company phone system reveals it is not cabable to support that many employees.

Currently collection company for Verizon and I nor any member of my family has never had a Verizon account.

This sounds like a scam what ever you do refuse to give this caller any bank imformation. If any # calls my cell and I do not know the # I do not answer it unless the name  and # is on my contact list. If it shows unknown or private I still don't answer it.

Will National Enterprise Systems settle legitimately?

I am working with National Enterprise Systems on settling a debt. I have many of the same complaints as others here. I want to know if they are legitimate in that, if I pay off as agreed upon, will this actually settle the debt? I'm trying to get them to put it in writing. I also want them to say there will be no interest charges or other hidden fees.

My concern is that they are not a debt collector at all. I want to know if money sent to them is, in fact, settling a debt I have, of if they are a scam.

I currently have debt with Verizon wireless, and unfortunatley moderately else where. I have been ina stock broker trainee program and dont make anymore than 300 dollars a week right now. With my commute and and lunch cost I can hardly profit over 60 dollars a week after taxes. I called Citi group which I have debt with and they were more than helpful and guided me into a 100 dollar a month for 6 month programs. On my way to concuring all my debt I than called verizon who referred me to NES who picked up my debt. To make a long story short the man threatend me by telling me if I didnt make my payment immediately in either one large chunk or two 50% chunks I would be investigated and than my debt would increase by 60%???? rather strange dont we agree, I told him I had read about his company, and I could not believe it was true(I did in business weekly I presume) and I asked than if I could make a monthly payment plan, he very rude and unprofessionaly told me "Sir you know the deal, make the payments, or the state will have to do a full investigation and you will owe 60% more than you do now". I am infuriated and confused, pardon my lack of professionalism, but what the hell kind of company is this, who is the CEO what good do they do for anyone?
