They are promotion company. they hire models or people to do different promotions. So they hired me to work for the client on the trade show-distribute papers, make surveys etc. for 2 days from 10 till 5, 20 dollars an hour. They never paid me. I faxed, I called, I emailed, I went to their office, but it proved to be just a mail box, so i left a message there. I never got a response. It's been more than half a year now.

I contacted the client, who I worked for, and they said they paid the agency in full in advance. They said, the agency owned them some money as well, and didn't want to give it back until they threatened them to bring them to court. The client remembers me, and I have all the proves, like my work sheet, showing that I worked there.

National Event Staffing works as quickly as they can to process pay checks, they work with hundreds of staff every day across the USA and Canada and when they are notified that there has been a pay check missed they work as quickly as they can to solve the issue and get the pay check to the staff member. They try to answer every single email and phone call but when you are working Nationally sometimes this is just not possible. I love working in the event industry and as a Promotional Model you get used to the fact that sometimes you are paid quickly after an event and sometimes you have to wait a while after an event. Sometimes you must even call or email to remind an agency about your payment. But these are all parts of working within this industry, if you want to make between $35/hr-$65/hr then sometimes you have to wait, some staff that are new to this industry don't understand that this is not like a regular 9-5 job and you sometimes don't get paid quickly, sometimes you are called last minute, sometimes you have to work early or late but these are all small sacrifices you must make to get the big dollars this industry pays Keep up the great work National Event Staffing!! Joanne
