I HAVE BEEN RECIEVING MAGAZINES THAT I NEVER PURSHASED.THERE HAS BEEN $25.00 A MONTH TAKEN FROM MY CHECKING ACCOUNT SINCE FEB.
THAT'S ATLEAST 6 MONTHS.I'VE CALLED AND TRYED TO GET THERE NUMBER BUT CAN'T GET IT. THE NATIONAL MAGAZINE EXCHANGE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF HARD WORKING PEOPLE. I DON'T HAVE TIME TO KEEP CALLING PEOPLE. JUST GET THESE PEOPLE TO STOP SENDING ME THESE MAGAZINES.

I went thru 30 hours of training before I answered even one live call. During that time a strict code of ethics was taught and a copy given to each trainee. We are also given a script to read, so we don't make things up and misrepresent the sweepstakes or product offers, which would be illegal. I am a Subscription Sales Associate. I am the first person a caller speaks with when they call-in to enter the sweepstakes. After I help the individual pick out the magazines they would like, I forward the prospective buyer to a "supervisor" who Verifies the magazine selections, billing policies, method of payment and cost with the buyer. The Verifier is the person who completely explains the magazine package and details including which of 3 gifts the caller would like. Gifts are a diamond quartz watch, a deluxe hotel stay or an electronic pocket organizer. Now anyone who calls and goes thru two people who both verified the caller wants 3 or 4 magazines and has a credit card or wants to pay by check, cannot claim they were ripped-off. How did N.M.E. get your credit card number or checking account number, if you didnt read it to us over the phone? This goes to show America is full of stupid people. They also need to ask themselves why they called in to enter a sweepstakes. While a purchase or payment is not required to enter or win the sweepstakes, we will still offer to sell you some discounted products. The caller is always welcome to say no thanks and hangup the phone. Last, please tell me where else you can get 4 nationally published magazines, ones like Time, Sports Illustrated, Ladies Home Journal, Better Homes and Gardens and Woman's Day for $.99 cents a week? Do the math, the price beats newstand AND publishers subscription rates.
