Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
dear ripoff vistor

Unfortunely I can not give out my name due to I am an employee of the company and understand what you guys and gals are going through with this company.

I have been in the company for a little while(don't really want to give out to much info here) but I am very upset with everything that has been going on for the last couple of months that i have been there.

I understand what you are going through and this is the reason that I have written this report to let you all now about the terrible company.

I am here to give you all the facts and info about the company. Here is a little bit of info so that you can realize what you people are going through.

Ex. Pat Haines is not a real person so when they tell you that you are speaking to her it's a straight out LIE. When you call customer service and they tell you to fax info to Hazel Bishop that is also not a real person. I want to say I am sorry to all the people that have call in and have been given the run around.

If you have any questions inregard to what I have written tonight please feel free to email me through the rebuttal key ANd sorry but due to my protection I can not and will not give my name out as long as I am still employed there.

Yours Truly,

unknown person

Your irrational fear plays right into their game plan

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

Dear Mr/Ms Fraidy Pants If you are so full of indignation over the abuses of SDP/NME why are you hiding behind anonimity? That plays into the hands of the very people you are castigating. Your irrational fear plays right into their game plan. What is it you are afraid of?? If you still work for them, you must be aware of the union movement that has s****.. Want to be a force for change?, see any one of the above mentioned, sign a Union authorization card and get involved. By the way, Pat Haines is a real person, her married name is Pat Romanow and she was one of the company founders along with her son Randy and Bill Hood. I was on her TSR (SSA) team in 1991. She retired some years ago and leases her name to the company for the mail pieces. I am pursuing several legal remedies against the company for my own wrongful termination, and believe you me they ALL know who I am, from Bill Hood, to Robert Moravek, to Sam Salvo to Kathie Margaritondo on down.

I think what you are doing is wrong. I do work for the company and I find nothing wrong with them. And customers do need to start paying attention to what they are listening to. I admit I got suckered into buying magazines for five years too and when I got that first bill I was outraged. But it was not with National Magazine Exchange, it was with Consolidated Media Services. It's a fact that most of the stuff that people tell us on the phone goes through one ear and out the other. If you are really upset with the company, then why are you still working with them? We do repeat ourselves so MANY times not because we like to, but just so customers can understand what they are agreeing to.

Apparently you are not as unhappy about ripping people off as you say

Apparently you are not as unhappy about ripping people off as you say, or else, you would no longer be working for the company that you are bashing. As a former employee of SDP, I know that it is not as big of a rip-off as you claim. The customers calling in do have the opportunity to refuse the magazine subscriptions offered to them. Thus, prior to making your company look bad, go back to school, take a few grammar classes and get a d**n degree and move the hell on. If SDP is so bad, LEAVE!!!!!
