Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
My 14 year old daughter used my card to enter contest and she pretended to be me. They talked her into subscribing to 3 magazines and that she would get 3 free for 3 months for $33.54 for 3 years. I caught her putting my card back into my wallet, I then confronted her. She gave me the information as best to her knowledge. I called right back and asked them to cancel my order and the person who answered the phone said that she doesn't handle that part of the business and that I should contact their customer service at [email protected]. Or call 1-800-235-0826. Well I immediately called their customer service and I heard a recording about what times they could be reached.

I then tried to contact them through e-mail [email protected]. I sent them a message that I wanted the order canceled right away. That I had not signed anything or received anything so please cancel this order. I told them my husband was furious and that he wanted it canceled asap! I then went on line and showed my daughter "The Ripoff Reports" that people had submitted. I didn't even know that you had one day to cancel, I found that in the report. I copied the report and sent another e-mail with my request and pasted the ripoff report and sent it. I then received this ms. from them It read, this is an automatically generated Delivery Status notification.

This is a warning message only. You do not need to resend your mesage. Delivery to the following recipients has been delayed.

[email protected]. I was sending another message not the same one. I wanted them to see how unhappy people were to receive fraudulent mail making them believe they had won something and that they needed to hear from you right away with your indivdual code number. I have never had an e-mail ms. delayed.

I then called my bank and asked them to stop payment from NME. That was last Sunday. The bank person said he would post it and that it shoud go through on Tuesday. The next couple of days our computer had some technical problems till today. I couldn't believe it the payment had gone through. I live on a very limited income and can not afford to pay these people $1027.44 for 36 months of magazines.

I am going to e-mail and call them again. If I get the same run around as I have, I'll be contacting you again.

I want you to know that it wasn't ten minutes after my daughter called them, that I tried to get in touch with these people. They have not replied to the one e-mail that went through, but they sure did not waste anytime getting my money.

I am so disgusted with this company that I could scream!!!!

So far it looks like my problem has been resolved. I finally got a hold of customer service and they have agreed to give me the 3 magazines my daughter ordered for that one time fee of $33.54 for one year. They have already taken that money out so I agreed to the one year for 33.54. But just incase they try to get any more money I changed my checking card number. If they try to get more money from me I will update my rip-off report. Thanks!
