National Small Business Alliance withdrawal of funds before "30 free trial" and no refund! Palm Springs California
I made the mistake of signing up with National Small Business Alliance. I emphatically emphasize that anyone considering signing up with their company, DO NOT DO IT!
I signed up with the impression the program was $149.95 fully refundable if I cancelled my membership during the "30 day free trial". Not only did they charge my account the $149.95 within days of signing up, within two weeks my account was charged another $349.95. I was unaware of this charge and it really messed things up for me. I called the company and cancelled my membership.
It has been a few months now since I cancelled my membership. I called after a few weeks and was told I had to wait 30 business days for my refund. I thought that was ridiculous seeing they had my money before they were supposed to but I accepted that.
Well the 30 days came and went. Still no refund. I finally look up this company and find hundreds of complaints about them. I contacted Dennis Mario and he forwarded my email to Romy to investigate.
She did. She contacted me to let me know the check was in the mail. A week passed and no check. I contact her again and she insists it is mailed but will look into it. Amazingly there was some "glitch" in the system and she does not know why it shows my check was mailed even though it wasn't. So I was assured it was mailed on December 14th. Guess what, still no check. I contacted Dennis again and still he insists the check was mailed. He has been very rude because the fact I did not receive that refund, I was not able to give my kids Christmas. He responds to me and I quote "why in the world would you buy something if you can't afford it?"
My response to you Dennis, had your company not taken my money before the 30 day "FREE" trial, I wouldn't be out anything.

I did see Dennis' rebuttal and he is correct in saying I received my refund although I did not receive it until January 17th, 2008. The check was dated December 14th, 2007 and the postmark on the envelope was January 14, 2008. I am happy that the company refunded my money even though I am not pleased with how long it took they should atleast be commended for following through. This will be my last posting on this issue. We have been working diligently with Michelle to resolve. Apparently, the check never arrived and we reissued one which she has received. Please note that we do voice tape record each sale during which a PRE-recorded disclosure statement is played to ensure that the buyer knows exactly the terms and conditions and when monies would be debited from their account. Michelle indicated on tape that she understood accordingly, we proceeded with the sale as approved by her. Dennis Mario did contact me. He says the check was mailed on the 14th of December and he enclosed a check #. It will be 3 weeks tomorrow that the check was sent. It still has not come. I will contact him tomorrow and let him know if the check still has not come.

I have been trying to contact Dennis Mario for days now since he told me my refund was in the mail and now my emails are going unanswered. I will update this report as soon as I hear something or receive my refund which I do not believe will be anytime soon.
