National Small Business Alliance MISLEADING, RIP-OFF Washington District of Columbia
At the end of March 2005, I received a phone call to my company from NSBA offering $8,000 credit line without any credit checking and can be used to charge on "anything" that's business related. I'm a very careful person when dealing with any credit related matters so I asked to re-confirm that's "anything" I can charge to this $8,000 credit line. I was re-assured with phrases such as charging any airfare or travel related expense, and any office equipment. The answers were vague. However, I was told I can try for 30-day money back guarantee. They had verification procedure thus I felt it's a genuine company. I WAS WRONG!!! THIS IS A FRAUD!!!
After they charged $99 (as a membership fee), I received the membership kit shortly. There's no credit card. THEY PURPOSELY MISLEAD YOU TO PAY THEM! I called NSBA immediately after reviewing and wanted the money back. They informed me to send back the kit to Cathedral City, CA (as I'm located in greater Los Angeles area). I returned whole kit on 4/5/05 and demand the refund.
Ten days later, there's no news from NSBA regarding my cancellation and they charged my account again with $239.40. I WAS FURIOUS!!!!!! I then tried to contact NSBA many times by phone, NOT ONE TIME I reached anyone at all. I couldn't stand it no more, I contacted my bank and informed them about this possible FRAUD matter, my bank was very helpful by taking further preventive measures and will help to deal with NSBA.
Meatime, I sent NSBA a last e-mail requesting reply otherwise I will ask my lawyer to proceed with necessary actions. It was then, NSBA replied with a short e-mail stating the money will be refunded within 30 days.
Until now, I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE REFUND!!!
DO NOT FALL INTO THIS TRAP! I will post further message(s) after I receive the refund (if I will receive it).

Judy, As you know, you joined on 3/25/05, cancelled on 4/15/05 and returned your kit on the same day 4/15/05. Here's the problem: both of your transactions were returned by the bank, consequently, since we never were able to collect any monies from you, no refund is due.
