I entered into a contract with National Warranty Services on 3/20/17. I cancelled it on3/31/17 because I became wary of the company. I have been waiting for my $155.00 deposit to be rerturned per their contract provisions for Texas which says that if you cancel within 20 days. I did this by phone and then sent a notorized, certified letter to them which shows receipt on 4/22/17.
I have called them; 5/04/17--I was told that it would take 4 to 6 weeks to recieve the refund. 5/24/17, I was told that they were working on 6/13/17, I was told " that they were a little behind and were working to get caught up". I was then put on hold, and when they came back to the phone, I was told that they were "out of buisness.
This is where I am today, 8/8/17. When I attempt to call the number that I have for the buisness, I am told that the call did not go through.
My advice to anyone reading this is not to to accept any contracts with National Warranty Services.!!
I did use a credit card but in the time span, it was lost and had to be replaced, so my refund can't be refunded to it. I was told that I would receive a check, for the amount of the refund, in the mail. I have not received a check.
