Their hard driver Level 3 data recovery costs service costs $499 out of which I had to pay $129 (non refundable) in advance to pay for donor parts used to fix the drive.
After they got the donor parts, it took them a few days to say things were going bad. In an email, they said:
"I wish the recovery was going better. After I changed the stack assembly I began to attempt to create a bit by bit image of the hard drive's magnetic material."
Then it took them a couple of days more to say that all they could get was corrupted files and that they could not recover the data cause it was unrecoverable.
In two emails, they clearly stated that they changed the stack assembly. The problem is that to change the stack assembly they have to remove the PBC board and then remove the seals in order to remove the screws.
Well guess what, when I got the drive back the seals are perfect and never removed. So, they never changed the stack assembly. They just pocketed $129 dollars without moving a finger. Oh wait, they did move a finger. They removed the top screws to make it believe that they actually worked on the drive.
Stay away from this company. These people are thieves.
