Nationwide Moving Services HORRIBLE MOVING BROKER Kaufman Texas
I used this company in September and made one of the biggest mistakes of my life. I obviously did not research enough but later found out that this company has changed names 4 or 5 times over the last few years and have been doing this for some time now. They quoted me a very low price and trying to save money we went with the quote. they also promised me that it would be their truck that picked up my move which was another lie as the company that showed up had a ford f-150 towing a horse trailer behind it that looked to be 20 years old.
They packed my items in the truck like crap and also said "nationwide moving services is just a broker and after they take their deposit they are really done with you" now that was not what I wanted to hear. Then the "low" quote went from $1,200 to $2,500.00 without them even weighing the truck!!!!
when I questioned that new estimate they got very angry with me and told me that this happens with every nationwide moving services customer and that is just the way it is. I was also told that delivery should be 2-5 days MAXIMUM and then told to my surprise that I would be delivered within 2 weeks by the actual movers.
They finally showed up 16 days later and another surprise, about 25% of my items were broken and 50% had water damage from a leak in the truck. When I questioned that they told me "s**t happens" you can fill out a damage claim form and get .60 per lb. sorry.
Now I can not get any resolve from the company who brokered out my move to a piece of crap moving company. This company is horrible and should be out of business fro good. Common thieves.
