Jeremy Kahalas and Jennifer Gatzke Kahalas, from Gilbert AZ:
Before I start with this response, I'd like to state that Natitys is a Mom-Owned
Home Based Business and it is NOT a large retailer, store, or company.
I also would like to state that I have over 50 emails I exchanged with
these people regarding this transaction.
1. This order is not 9 months old, it is 5 months old.
2. Jennifer Gatzke Kahalas placed this order, not Jeremy. She contacted me
MULTIPLE times {April, July, October} wanting me to make her a cover I
did not offer. By October, I decided I'd give it a try and have her give
me all the measurements, which she agreed to do {first mistake}.
3. I do NOT accept checks, I made an exception with her {mistake 2} I
did not cash the check until I emailed her and gave her, got
her permission to cash the check and provided all the information she
would need to get for me to make her the cover.
4. I did not hear from her for several weeks, when I finally did,
she had forgotten that she had agreed to get the measurements I needed
for her order. I forwarded her once again, all the instructions. Plus
the email where she agreed to get the measurements, in case there was
any confusion.
5. When she got back to me, she decided she wanted a refund, not
provide to me the information, which she also forwarded to her husband,
Jeremy Kahalas and this is when he became involved in the matter.
6. In November, I explained to him what I needed, and offered to try go
get the information myself, in my own time, which I explained to him,
would take me some time as the car seat is not carried everywhere and I
do have several other matters that always require my attention. I was
also in the middle of moving from one state to another, I was going to
be offline for about 2 months. He agreed to wait.
7. By February, my move was not as smooth as I expected, and I was
in between homes, I offered in a full refund, which he accepted, but
goes back to mistake #2, they paid with a check, I was going to have
to refund the same way, had they paid like everyone else on my
business, it would have taken a click of a button and this would all be
over.
8. Against my policies, to ensure I would never hear from these people AGAIN, I mailed him back the check when I told him I would, he posted this "rip-off report" without even giving the check sufficient time to get to him.
9. Re: refund policy, look it up, it's on my website, it's in the "terms and conditions", also under "customer support" also under "terms" also under "shipping time frame"; you HAVE to read and click that you "understand" before the order even completes, I set it up like this to evade issues like this one, once you place the order, you have acknowledged that you read the terms and you AGREE with them. It is almost impossible to miss!
In short, I am in no way intimidated by this "Report", I somewhat understand their frustration, but I hold them accountable for the chain of events, I was offered a job with conditions, and the conditions where never properly provided, and when it was time to give the money back, they jumped the gun and posted on this website. If this makes them feel better, so be it.
I wish my PERSONAL information would not be mentioned but I cannot control the lack of common sense these people have. Let this be a lesson to other people thinking about doing business with them.
I am also being bombarded by solicitors from companies associated with this "ripoffreport" website, offering to help "fix the problem". I am in no way interested in their services offered for a fee or an more energy into this matter, I am done with this and moving on.
